Through our Lenz: Paralenz at DEMA SHOW 2019
It’s no secret. We have been looking forward to the DEMA Show 2019 all year; meeting up with dearly established and new buyers, sponsoring snapshot sessions, participating in seminars, and simply being surrounded by fellow divers and enthusiasts – it really gets our heart-rate up in excitement.
If you’ve visited our stand the last years, you probably know; we always aim to make every year better than the last. This time we had a very special surprise.
Introducing the “new” Paralenz
This year, we mostly mentioned “DEMA” in the same breath with “rebranding”, as we launched our new brand identity along with a new website simultaneously to the DEMA Show.
Naturally, we were pumped to present our new Paralenz brand identity to the DEMA crowd first; new logo, new stand design, new business cards, new brochures, and – most importantly – our renewed vision.
Part of our team traveled to Florida well in advance, making sure we had plenty of time to set up our stand and present our new brand identity in the best way possible.
Inside our Snapshot Sessions
In previous years, we sponsored quite a number of different sessions and talks. This year was no different. We backed four “Snapshot Sessions” with Jill Heinerth, Cristina Zenato, Aron Arngrimsson, and John Kendall.
The speakers talked about everything from diving in arctic waters, complicated cave diving, to the magic of Photogrammetry. Seats were fully filled and the audience was hooked.

The show doesn’t stop after 6pm
DEMA is of course not just all business, it’s also an opportunity to get social with friends, partners, and like-minded divers. We had a lovely time meeting old and new friends, and touch bases with so many familiar faces. After a tough day of meetings, we let loose at the STI TDI party, as well as the “legendary” deeperblue.com-party on Friday.
Needless to say, it was a blast. Thanks, DEMA, see you next year!
